[New Restaurant Alert] Spasso harbour side al fresco terrace officially opens

Another al fresco cuisine is adding to Tsim Sha Tsui’s dining scene.  DiVino Group’s flagship restaurant, Spasso, has officially opened it’s harbour side terrace to diners. The fully-licensed 80 seat area that overlooks the spectacular Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbour vistas, comprises a full-service al fresco dining section, and a bar area for cocktails, snacks and drinks.  The terrace is also suitable for standing reception parties and events for up to 500 people.

As a popular place for neighbouring office workers, residents and visitors to enjoy sundowners and aperitif hour, Spasso also offers something new to celebrate the official launch of its terrace.  A snack menu served til 1:30 am nightly on wooden platters of wild boar and Norcia truffle sausages with toasted bread ($118), home-made stuffed chili with tuna, anchovies and capers ($88), parma ham ‘Riserva’ 24 months ($148) and more.

For those in a more indulgent mood, the oyster-and-wine-pairing menu offers a selection of freshly shucked shells from the world’s most pristine waters served in a variety of ways. Customers can choose from Irish Rock, Raspberry Point, Kumamoto and Tsarskaya priced at HK$58 per piece, HK$290 per half dozen or HK$580 for a dozen.

The restaurant’s large sliding doors connecting Spasso’s indoor space with the outdoor terrace create a seamless transition between the inside and out.  Throwing open the doors on cool bright sunny days and breezy evenings, customers need only worry and can relax and be served directly to their tables, rather than guests collecting food and beverage from inside the restaurant.  Spasso‘s rotating DJ’s set the mood to the outdoor dining scene as they spin to contemporary jazz and junk.
